Basic Pistol with Ohio Conceal Carry Requirements:
This Basic Pistol course provides basic requirements to obtain your Ohio Conceal Carry. The course is designed to educate the student about firearm safety, basic pistol parts, ammo, proper storage and how to use firearms efficiently.
This course is designed to take 8 hours, with range time. After course completion you may apply for your Ohio CCW.
We will provide the students with course ammunition and use of hand guns, Trigger Action course completion certificate.

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals:
Students Must Have a Current Conceal Carry License to take Class
The Defensive Shooting Fundamentals course will provide the student basic intuitive defensive shooting, speed and accuracy, integration of lateral motion and malfunction clearing.
The course is designed to take 4-6 hours, depending on range time.
Students will bring 200 rounds of ammunition and should bring their defensive firearm, and two magazines and snap caps for simulation of malfunction.

This NRA approved course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family in the home, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual's right to self-defense.
The course is designed to take 8 hours depending on range time.
Students should bring 250 rounds of ammunition and should bring defensive firearm, and two magazines and snap caps for simulation of malfunctions.

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Phase 2
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is a two-part course consisting of an e-learning portion (completed online-in your own timeframe) and a hands-on practical portion conducted at a range under the guidance and supervision of an NRA-Certified Instructor. The course is intended for all adults regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation.
During the instructor-led-training portion of the course, an NRA Certified Instructor will validate comprehension and application of gun safety rules; range protocol; proper handling; loading and unloading procedures; application of pistol shooting fundamentals; stable shooting positions; live fire; and a final shooting qualification.

Women Only Basic Pistol Shooting & CCW Course:
All Handgun Training Classes are taught by an NRA certified instructor and in accordance with the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting and Ohio Conceal Carry requirements. This is not a Co-Ed class Women only please. This class is to Assist women with handgun safety and basic pistol instruction and to Empower women with the knowledge & confidence required to shoot a handgun proficiently. You will gain experience and familiarity with revolvers and semi-automatic pistols during the live firing portion of the training.
This a private class limited to 6 women students per class. Contact Trigger Action to schedule your group. You don't need to have a firearm, we will provide you with the use of a .22 caliber revolver and .22 caliber semi-automatic handguns, 50 rounds of ammunition, and eye and hearing protection.
